The early days of computer generated art was admittedly pretty bad but as computers gained in power and software improved in quality CGI art began to take its place with the best in the art world.

It is absolutely amazing to look upon some of the images that CGI artists create but when it comes to the human portrait the ability of the artist to convince us that the image is indistinguishable from any of its traditionally painted counterparts has been difficult. Not anymore it would seem though as these excellent portraits show us.
